When thinking about waxing your car, be sure to keep in mind the advantages and disadvantages of waxing your car on a regular basis:

Advantages include:

• Less scratches on your paint

• Protection from the atmosphere

• Maintains factory shine

Disadvantages include:

• Dullness

• Obvious scratches are more apparent

• No protection from whatever lands on your car (salt, bird droppings, etc.)

The bottom line is that your paint job has memory. Once you start waxing, you must be consistent!
